This project is what helped launch our foundation, all though it would be a few more years later before we became “Official”.
As the Iowa Young Mother of the Year, I decided to put together a project with Lee Frogley (deceased) for school kits to Africa. I remember specifically explaining to my children that in Africa, children have to split pencils in threes and shares. Crayons and school supplies were non-existent for many children all over the world.
