Prior to our Dominican Republic trip in June, we started to raise funds for this family who had a set up quadruplets.
These tiny quadruplets were born on May 7 in the Dominican Republic. They are already home from the hospital and are still very tiny. One baby has a heart condition and isn’t expected to live. We are praying for a miracle for her and the family.
The babies are required to have special formula for two months. One box of 12 little bottles costs $50 a day. Imagine paying that even with a good income. This family makes $50 a week. Neighbors are trying to help but they are also in impoverished conditions.
We would like to raise enough to help the family pay for formula for one month or more. The babies are supposed to be on this special preemie formula for 2 months and they could use diapers and wipes too. Thank you to those who have donated already.
Color My World is a non-profit 501C3 . Your donation is tax deductible. Please add a note to your donation that it is for the quadruplets. We raised $887.00 primarily from the Mom’s group in Bedford, Amherst and Manchester on Facebook.
Update: Unfortunately, one of the quads past away this summer 2014.
